Bernadette Lifecare Rest Home, Mt Maunganui opened in 1986, and over the last 25 years has established a reputation as one of the finest aged care facilities in the Bay of Plenty.

Over the years we have continued to grow and expand. In 1996 we opened the first hospital wing in Mt Maunganui, of 25 rooms.

We are proud to announce the opening of our Matakana Wing, which is a brand new Hospital, now completed and available. Providing an additional 23 large superior hospital rooms, all including ensuites.

Today Bernadette Lifecare has 28 Rest Home rooms and 58 Hospital rooms. We are proud of the traditions of Bernadette Lifecare and we look forward to the opportunity to meet the needs of   individual residents and their families for many years to come.
